We provides shipping containers and
prepaid labels and pays for every accepted inkjet, Toner
cartridge or cell phone.
The Club, business representative or individual registers him or
herself and includes the Club number of which they are in support.
Provided to the participants are: FREE collection receptacles and FREE
shipping of cartridges and cell phones back to our facility. Once registered, the participant is entered into
the Barcode system specific to each participant, which keeps inventory
of all received cartridges or cell phones. Quarterly payments are made to the benefiting
Clubs and the Foundation for all cartridges and cell phones received and accepted
during the quarter.
This is an excellent opportunity to help out the environment and
"Bring Out the Best in Kids" at the same time.
Where do we collect cartridges?
Community businesses, High rise office buildings, Lawyers,
Accountants, schools, or individuals will donate cartridges
to individual Recycle Clubs if asked. Collect during other ongoing
Club fundraising activities. Ask your neighbors, friends, employer,
contacts of Optimist International Members and Foundation Donors.
How often do we pay your club?
We pay all Clubs and Foundations by the Calendar Quarter.
January, February, March –Checks will be mailed in April.
April, May, June – Checks will be mailed in July.
July, August, September – Checks will be mailed in October.
October, November, December – Checks will be mailed in January. Together WE can make a difference.
